German Solar Prize 2010
EUROSOLAR has awarded the German Solar Prize each year since 1994 to local authorities, organisations, communities or individual persons who have made an outstanding contribution to utilising and applying renewable energies. It awards outstandingly innovative projects, initiatives and commitment in different categories.
In 2010, Soltecture was presented with the German Solar Prize plaque in the "Owners and operators of systems using renewable energies" category for its new-build company headquarters project that integrates solar power.
Location in 'Germany – Land of Ideas' 2009
The 'Germany – Land of Ideas' initiative showcases the strengths of Germany and reflects its quintessential German qualities: inventiveness, creative fervour and visionary thinking.
Global Cleantech 100
Soltecture is one of the world’s most innovative solar power companies, which has been confirmed by numerous awards. For example, the UK‘s Guardian newspaper recently listed the company among Europe’s '100 Hottest Cleantech Companies' for the second year in a row. Soltecture has now been included in this select circle of innovative, high-tech companies in both 2009 and 2010.
Berlin-Brandenburg Innovation Prize 2006
This renowned business award has been awarded since 1984 by the federal states of Berlin and Brandenburg and is jointly funded by commercial enterprises working in public-private partnerships within the region. The award is used to support and promote companies and innovators in the Berlin-Brandenburg region. The Innovation Prize recognises outstanding innovations and aims to link research and development with companies.
2001 Berlin-Brandenburg Business Plan Competition
The Berlin-Brandenburg Business Plan Competition was held for the first time in 1995 and is now the longest running regional start-up competition in Germany. Business concepts in the technology and services sectors are assessed and awarded. In 2001, Soltecture´s business model was awarded second place in the Technology category.
