Soltecture was responsible for the entire development for this 306 kW project – starting from the planning and financial viability analysis to monitoring the installation. The solar power system was sold to a Berlin-based investor who has leased the roof. The installation produces around 250 MWh of electricity per year and is therefore one of the largest roof-mounted systems in Berlin.

Berlin’s largest roof-mounted photovoltaic system is currently being installed in Berlin-Adlershof: thin-film modules from Soltecture are being installed on the roofs of the ‘Am Oktogon’ Industry and Technology Campus that will achieve a rated output of 1,010 kilowatt peak (kwp) and an annual energy yield of around 820 megawatt hours (MWh). This amount of energy is enough to supply around 300 private households with electricity for one year.
