Sulfurcell celebrated its 10th anniversary on 20 May 2011 and announced at this occasion its renaming. Ten years after its founding sulfurcell renamed Soltecture. The new name reflects the excellence of the company’s integrated solar solutions and its technological leadership.

In 2010, Soltecture held its second symposium entitled: "Solar construction – Focus on commercial roof solutions". The areas covered ranged from visions for future energy supplies to what is practically possible today. The speakers included renowned author Dr. Franz Alt, who delivered the keynote address. In addition to insights and prospects for installation and system solutions, as well as trends in utilising PV systems on buildings, the underlying framework conditions and financial possibilities for solar power systems were also outlined.

On 16 March 2010, Soltecture held its first ‘Working Lunch’ event, which focussed on the topic of "Unused roof surfaces as a profitable investment: Possible solutions and the economic feasibility of roof-mounted solar power systems in Berlin." Together with Berlin roof owners, project developers, architects and investors, solutions and possibilities were discussed at the working lunch. Interesting papers and presentations were also held by renowned urban designers and planners. The Soltecture Working Lunch is intended to be the first in a series of events that will be devoted to different themes.

In 2009, Soltecture held its first Solar Construction Symposium entitled: "Solar solutions in commercial construction". Numerous guests from a diverse range of sectors met to find out about and discuss the latest developments in this rapidly developing field. On 14 September 2009, architects, engineers and investors arrived at Soltecture’s recently inaugurated headquarters in Berlin-Adlershof in order to listen to and discuss interesting presentations from renowned experts.
